Our Breeding Philosophy
Our breeding philosophy is grounded in preservation, purpose, and integrity. We believe that true excellence in purebred dogs comes from a balance of health, temperament, type, and capability — all guided by respect for the breed’s history and future.
Our involvement with the breeds are a long-term commitment with a goal to produce progeny that not only meet the breed standard but improve the lineage in structure, movement and temperament. Any breeding decision is made with the entire breed’s wellbeing in mind
Health First: Using the latest available genetic testing we conduct thorough health screening for all selected breeding dogs to minimize the risk of genetic health issues common in the breeds. No dog is bred if doing so would compromise the physical or mental health of the next generation.
Breed integrity. We follow our breed standard as a blueprint, not as decoration. Type, balance, and function must all reflect the breed’s original purpose.
Temperament Matters: Every puppy is raised in a loving, stimulating environment to ensure they grow into confident, well-socialized adults.
Selective improvement. Each breeding should contribute positively — strengthening weaknesses, consolidating virtues, and reducing faults. Incremental improvement defines progress. We collaborate with other ethical breeders in Australia to holistically improve the quality of the dogs available.
Support for Life: We offer ongoing advice and support to all our puppy owners, ensuring a smooth transition to their new homes.
