Microchipping Information
Microchipping is so important because it is a permanent and fairly reliable way to ensure your pet can be identified anywhere in Australia and returned ot you if they ever get lost or stolen.
A few of the key benefits of registering your dogs microchip include:
- Permanent identification, sometimes collars or dog tags fall off often these things happen at the worst possible time like when your little buddy gets out. As they are under the dogs skin they can not be lost.
- Once you register your microchip it can not be modified without your consent providing proof of ownership.
- Should your dog be lost and injured a quick scan at a veterinary clinic will provide them with your contact details.
There are 2 options we recommend for microchip registration, we have personally used both in the past. Registration can be completed online so no need to print forms and post them off.

You will need to create an account if you do not have one already and then register the pup with the microchip number which is in your puppy packs. You can skip all the extra items they offer you(such as Carma Rewards Club) unless you want to subscribe to that but for the pure purposes of Microchip registration it is not necessary.
